Some Ebbe Rosen Tuning Numbers Photos of Ebbe Rosen/Olle Wenrup shot at the 1995 Worlds in Mounts Bay, on the way out to the second race. |
The Rebell main sail we used was different to what Krister Bergstrom & Kalle Nilsson had. Our was flatter in the top. We believe it's one of the best you can have in light to medium wind. |

The Rebell Sails jib which all swedish teams used, is called 2-4 minus. Krister also use a fuller jib (2-4 minus F). |
This photo is from the first worlds race with us in the lead with Kalle Nilsson/Johan Arvedson and Krister Bergstrom/Thomas Moss close behind. |
Ali Meller: -Ebbe/Olle won the 1st race, and finished 3rd overall in the '95 Worlds. Krister Bergstrom/Thomas Moss were 2nd overall, and Kalle Nilsson/Johan Arvedson were 6th overall (of 106 teams competing). |
SWE8232 is a Waterat 505 built by Larry Tuttle (delivered in May-89). We are very pleased with the boat, which has stayed like new for many years. It is very strong and very well built. The weight has not changed and is still at minimum 127.4 Kg. |
We use a Proctor D mast and have the shrouds at 4900 mm above deck, trapeze wires at 4980 mm. Center of spreader fitting at 3100 mm above deck. The spreaders are 40 cm with an angle set between 11-13 cm distance, measured from the aft side of the mast to a batten held at the backside of the shroud wires. The latest trim change we made was for the worlds in Townsville. We copied how Krister control the jib sheeting and we now also have the same type of Rebell main (Kevlar).
