Complex 505 rig trim system

Used by an Australian Team at the 505 worlds in Hyannis ´98

The boat is Leslie Nathanson's, from Brisbane. The idea is to pull the whole rig to windward on a beat. The drum adjusts the shrouds, the deck gate and the lowers (I think), all together. Somebody else said that it did not work well, and that he did not adjust it at Hyannis! Better check with him, though. It is a good idea. I have for some years been thinking about ways to do something similar, but have never had the courage to pursue it.
