The white chute in the photo is one of our larger chutes, these are made out of Porcher Nylon and are usually flown in lighter air or when the race committee does not set really tight reaches. This is the popular sail with the US East Coast 505 sailors These sell for US$640.00. The blue chute is one of the smaller chutes and these are made out of Dimension Polyant Nylon for toughness. Howie and Mike use their smaller one in breeze over 14 especially when the committee sets tight world's reaches or when you can sail on the trapeze down wind. This is the popular sail with the San Francisco and Santa Cruz crowd. The smaller chutes sell for US$525.00. Our Kevlar Jibs sell for US$525.00 and the Kevlar Mains sell for US$925.00, these are the models that have won the World's for the last two years. We continue to do small developments as the sailors out here learn more about how to use them better. Compared to the first generation the newest sails are much stronger and more durable. We can build and ship the sails to you by the date you need if you order fairly soon since we are doing lots of 505 gear at the moment.
