Waterat Sailing Equipment designed and built these spreader extensions and upper shrouds to support the maximum height spinnaker halyard on a Proctor D. This photo is of Ethan Bixby's boat with the first set of spreader extensions and upper shrouds fitted, at the recent Florida Midwinter Championship.

Waterat has since developed a "mark 2" version which has been fitted to a 505 and will be used at the upcoming St. Francis Yacht Club Spring Regatta in San Francisco.

Development on this system for supporting the Proctor D mast with the high spinnaker halyard is continuing.
