With driver Wolfgang Hunger (twice 470 World Champion), Holger was 4th at the 1997 Worlds and 3rd at the 1998 Europeans. Hunger/Jess did particularly well in the light air races at this European Championship. Hunger/Jess won the 505 Worlds in Cascais 2001 and in Warnemunde 2005.
